New image campaign for Pommeau
|
Posting from 01 June until 31 August 2011 in Lower and Upper Normandy in three successive waves: - From 8 to 28 June 2011, 415 2m² ‘town centre’ faces, 413 back of bus faces and 446 at cafés/hotels/restaurants in the main urban centres. - 2 waves in July and August along the Normandy coast, chiefly targeting the tourist clientele. Pommeau de Normandie keeps its horse association but this is given a different treatment, placing the horse in the background so as to give more prominence to visuals more directly linked to the product: the apple, apple blossom or apple branch, set the natural, traditional character of Pommeau. 2 visuals have been selected for this drive, which keeps the motto: « Du caractère naturellement ! » (Character naturally).

 - a poster focusing on the "terroir" (soil) aimed at the general public, with a more modern graphic design. The bottle of Pommeau in the middle showing it to be naturally produced from the fresh sundrenched apple placed just above it. With the horse’s shadow on a heavily worked beige ground, the product’s traditional character is brought out to perfection. The quality aspect is an eye-catcher and suggests the product in an even nobler light.

 - The other, more ‘seasonal’ visual, for posting along the coast, embeds the bottle of Pommeau in a seaside scene and recalls the picture postcard view of Normandy that tourists have in their heads: the sand, the sea, horses in the distance, instantly reminding them of Deauville or Cabourg. An impression of a cinema poster strengthened with a wooden frame, very chic, and offering a product moving upmarket for a new public.

New visual for Brittany
|
 A more intimist, ‘earthy’ visual, recalling a knowhow that remains a closely guarded secret. The bottle is perched in the heart of an apple tree trunk, the very essence of the product, like an outstanding jewel in its case. Pommeau de Bretagne (produced in Brittany) will also feature in the poster campaign during the summer of 2011 : three one-week waves at 22 camp sites along the coast of the Finistère backed up with plenty of insertions in the regional press.
